In Romans 12:2 it says to "be transformed by the renewing of your mind". So we know that renewing our mind can transform us.

But what does it mean to "renew our mind"? Basically to get new thinking.

But why do we want new thinking? As early as childhood we start believing certain things about ourselves, other people and even God. Oftentimes our beliefs are not true. They may seem true at the time, but let's be honest, how wise can a 5-year old be?

The bottom line is all too frequently our reactions in the present have a root cause that started in the past. This is where Jesus steps in as GOD's (theo) LIGHT (phostic). We simply invite Him to bring His Light into your circumstances to help you discover what thinking might be blocking your way to true freedom in victorious peace.

Occasionally, we're fully aware of our thinking as it relates to feelings of being hurt, angry or scared. We might even know that we sometimes make sinful choices because we're attempting to manage internal pain. But yet other times we don't even realize we're not living in total victory. Whichever way describes us, if we get new thinking, we will be transformed!

Our Mission

To help others develop an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. This is done through focused prayer for an authentic Christ encounter, mind renewal and life transformation.

What this Prayer Ministry is Not

It is NOT about giving advice, diagnosing problems or sharing opinions and insight. True Freedom Prayer Ministry is Christ-centered and God-reliant for its direction and outcome. We acknowledge that Jesus Christ is the only one who can truly release us from our emotional duress.

How it Works

A trained prayer minister and one other person, who has either been trained or is in training, meet with you privately. If you have certain feelings you're wondering about, the prayer ministers will present those to Jesus first. Then follow His leading from there. Each session lasts about 2 hours.

How to Participate

Since this is a prayer ministry, there is absolutely no cost. However, prayer sessions are by appointment only and usually take place at the church building.
