Encouragement for Hospital Stays and Bereavement

NHV has a group of individuals who enjoy seeing God move in our local hospitals. These anointed people make sure you have encouragement and prayer to keep your faith and spirits high while you're in the hospital and even after you return to your home.

If you or someone you know has lost a loved-one through death, our Bereavement ministry is available to offer one-to-one support. Members of this ministry will not only pray for peace and comfort but offer encouragement through phone calls and notes.

Volunteer Opportunities

It doesn't take much to brighten someone's day. It could be something as simple as reading them a poem, sending a card of encouragement or praying with someone. The main point is to let people know we care and haven't forgotten about them during their struggle.

It takes MANY united and loving volunteers to support a local community. Please consider signing up for temporary assignments in any number of our Compassion Ministries. You'll hardly believe the blessing it will be in your own life.
